i see you posted this video some time ago, and i was wondering how it worked out for your game? was it helpful ? have you become a better player? to me it looks like your swing is fairly decent, with a lill fine tuning and reps you should be swining much better!

    swing harder

  3. fcunitedfcunited says:

widen you stance and make sure to extend you left arm as much u can on ur back swing this will force you to come down smoother as u connect to the ball

  4. schwabichin says:

    WIDEN YOUR STANCE

Although I couldn’t see your ball flight, no one seems to talk about left hand and how weak it is. Great tempo, don’t worry about what people say about your follow through, the ball is long gone by then, its fine. Nothing wrong with a little lag at top, it helps set the club. Just don’t let your hip outrun the club. Your swing speed isn’t fast enough for it to keep up with sliding hips. You slice the ball right? Strengthen your left hand and your all good. keep it in the short grass

  6. mizunogolfer123 says:

down the line view – you should be able to draw a line from the back of your shoulders down to the edge of your knees and then to the tip of your feet. hope this helps- good tempo

  7. mizunogolfer123 says:

you should stand a little more athletic at adress and dont be afraid to turn your hips a little more, ive read plenty articles saying that its bullshit for the average players to try to restrict their hip turn for more power. for your setup – shoulder width apart for irons-duh everyones herd of that – and slightly wider than shoulder width apart for your driver.

  8. cody67767 says:

    #1- Widen your stance
#2- The pause at the top of your backswing is a tiny bit too long
#3- Your follow through is WAYYY to flat
#4- More wrist action with iron, strike DOWN and through on the ball, not behind
#5- Hips and left leg are clearing a bit too early
#6- Your moving your head around too much
Good swing a lot of potential

I am not being rude but that first angle is the critical angle and us PGA pros call that a “down the line view” You must place the camera directly behind yourself and move it back or zoom out so we can see the position of the clubface at the top. There is no way I can help you until I can see what your club looks like from that angle aforementioned. Thanks

ok 1. make sure you keep your head down and like the other poeple said stance could be wider 2. make sure your arms are straight when you start your swing

  11. manxy25 says:

you look lazy in your swing. no offence .get a lesson

  12. tromba55 says:

Hi, Nice job not overswinging… What I would try is: 1. More or a “one piece take away”. Your wrists break very early. A good thing to think about is keep the butt end of the grip between your forearms on the takeaway. 2. Try to keep from sliding forward during your swing. I have this same problem. Keep your head behind the ball at impact.

  13. djpatsajak says:

It almost looks like you’re casting at the top. Try to retain the wrist cock on your downswing.

  14. Numbsmiles says:

Your follow through looks a little weird…

  15. hisairness2340 says:

You do a lot of things well though, you are very much on plane so don’t lose that. You have a pretty good setup and weight shift and you keep your posture very well throughout the swing. Five stars.

  16. hisairness2340 says:

Yes, the last commenter was right about the wider stance. It would help you have more balance and let you feel more confident to go a little harder. Actually the biggest thing is you sway to the right on the backswing. This is caused by losing the angle in your right leg as you go back. Although it seems like the sway is giving you more power but it actually robs power because it adds moving parts and straightening the right leg makes you lose your coil.

  17. StudentsMatchplay says:

    slow motion would help…

your stand coul be wider, since you are hitting a wood. your left arm relaxes too much on the back swing. also you may get more in your knees and use your hips in the through-swing to add length to your ball. most importantly: speed up your through swing…

    hope that helps

Well first off it’s great to see that you have already generated alot of responses. Some advice is good, some misleading and other that are just plane wrong! I’m in Real Estate and my Broker tells me “before taking advice asking them what their net worth is!”
Well it’s the same in golf; only take advice from scratch golfers – they understand the swing and the game. I would need to see many more swings than just the quick 20 sec video. Feel free to reply to me with a longer version, multiple swings. Then I can get a better feel of your swing.
The second comment from smoothswing was the shortest reply you received : “Swing Harder”. He is correct; you seem to have very good tempo it just needs to be turned up 25%.
So before you go changing your entire mechanics, why not swing a little harder whilst maintaining good tempo and balance?
