Is it a high arc of a slice or just a straight push? Does it go straight and curve off to the right or does it go straight to the right? How far forward in your stance do you have the ball?

i mean i tee high and i slice

  8. loganeast says:

Then you’re probably coming from too far outside on your swing. Your correct swing arc should be ever so slightly to the inside. Try to take a couple swings in slow motion and see where your downswing is coming from. If it goes outside the ball and comes back your probably going to hook it.

It makes sense in theory. Just one more thing on the huge list to check for.

helped a lot when I slice and I have the ball almost too high already :D

Train with the helicopter golf training aid to see what are you doing with your hands during the swing.
It’s the easy way to cure the hook and the slice and it’s also the best way to learn how to draw or fade the ball.
    I strongly recommended it

He’s right because I was at the driving range the other day, and I decided to trade my rubber tee for a shorter one – believing that I would improve my trajectory. I began slicing the ball slightly to the right – not much, but slightly. I never have this problem with my irons.

there are many different ways to hook and slice not just the tee height but all you have to remember is if your club hits the ball going straight and you have a straight club face you will hit the ball straight

Wow, that’s why i’ve been slicing a lot. But sometimes i used to slice when the tee way high. And why do you think this happens, ok whenever my club accidentally hits the ground before it hits the ball. My drive loses about 25-50 yards, but my drives are straight like no other. I’m 15 and i’ve been playing for about 3 months or so, so i like any insight.

I’ll definitely give that a shot, thanks!
